Insert a Blank Page into a PDF

Sometimes you need a fresh signature page after a contract, or a blank spacer between scanned pages. Click Add Blank Page (+) below the Page list (the same item is also in the Pages menu at the top), and a blank A4 page is inserted right after the page you're viewing - the view then jumps to that new page. Any stamp, signature, or text box on later pages is automatically renumbered and stays with its original page.

How to use

  1. Open the PDF file.
  2. In the Page list, click the thumbnail of the page that should come right before the new one.
  3. Click Add Blank Page (+) below the Page list. The same item is also in the Pages menu at the top. A blank A4 page is inserted right after the page you were viewing, and the view jumps to it.
  4. Fill in what you need, then save with Download PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Does the blank page always go to the end of the document?
No. It's inserted right after the page you're currently viewing. To add it at the end, open the last page first, then click the button.
The new blank page is a different size from the rest of my document.
A new blank page is always A4, no matter what size the rest of the document uses. To match it, use Change page size and apply it to just that page.
What happens if I click this button before opening a PDF?
There's no document to insert into, so it simply opens a new one-page blank document instead - the same result as the Start with a blank page button on the home screen.
Does saving cost anything?
Editing, including adding a blank page, is free. Saving with the free version adds a light watermark; saving without a watermark is a paid option.
